The Romance Languages Department at Williams College seeks to appoint a tenure-track Assistant Professor of French, beginning July 1, 2019. We are seeking passionate candidates with a specialization in French and/or Francophone pre-1800 literatures and cultures, with the potential to teach broadly in Medieval and Renaissance studies and/or 17th- and 18th-century studies, and to pursue a rigorous scholarly agenda in their field.

he Department of Modern and Classical Languages at Western Washington University is inviting applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning September 2019. The Departments of French, Germanic, and Italian and the Scandinavian Section in the UCLA Division of Humanities are seeking to hire two (2) new faculty at the Assistant Professor level as part of an initiative to establish a new Department of European Languages and Transcultural Studies (ELTS).
