Trinity College Dublin, The University of Dublin is seeking to fill the following full-time academic position:
Professor of French (Chair of French 1776), Permanent contract, full time. Candidates must have a PhD in a Ph.D. in French and/or Francophone Studies broadly conceived and an internationally distinguished record of research and publication relating to French studies.
Appointment will be made on the Professorship Salary Scale at a point in line with Government Pay Policy (€106,516 - €136,276 per annum).

Trinity College and the Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages wish jointly to appoint to a Tutorial Fellowship and Associate Professorship in French (1500-1700), commencing in October 2017. The combined University and College salary will be on a scale from £45,066 to £60,513 p.a. Additional allowances provided by the College include a (taxable) housing allowance, if the successful candidate chooses not to live in College accommodation, of £13,000 p.a.
